Teen Recovering From Gang-Related Shooting

A 16-year-old is recovering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The shooting happened Monday night right before midnight at the 200 block of Campbell Way in Oxnard.

Oxnard police said two cars drove into the area, stopped and fired at the teen while yelling their gang name. The victim tried to run away but was hit.
