‘State of Our Schools’ Presentation Wednesday

The head of Santa Barbara schools will outline the state of public education at a luncheon Wednesday.

Superintendent David Cash will give his annual talk at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion. He will focus on new initiatives and challenges facing students, parents and educators.

Cash will also talk about new state standards called Common Core, school data and a strategic plan.

The presentation will start at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
