Postal Carrier Creates Haunted Manor

When Giovanni Campanella isn’t delivering mail in Santa Barbara, he is running Campanella Haunted Manor at 4575 Telephone Road.

His haunted house started a couple of years ago at his Ventura home, but quickly outgrew the space.

Campanella has been buying up haunted house items off the Internet to fill the space he rented behind the DMV.

It’s a maze of terrifying things to look at, with real actors walking throughout.

There is a monster in a stockade and a grandmother being thrown out of a wheelchair and down stairs.

Campanella is asking visitors to bring cans to benefit Food Share, Ventura County’s food bank.

There is a fee at the door to help keep the lights on, or in this case the strobe lights flashing.

Speaking of lights, there is a tour for little kids with the lights on Sunday afternoons.

Campanella Haunted Manor is open on Friday-Sunday through Nov. 2.
