Mobile Home Catches Fire
Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District responded to a mobile home on fire near the 5700 block of Via Real in Carpinteria.
Officials said the fire began just after 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The fire was contained to one mobile unit in the San Roque Mobil Home Park.
Officials said all occupants were out of the mobile home at the time of the fire. The unit sustained major smoke and water damage.
The blaze was knocked down around 1:22 p.m. Ventura County Fire Department and Montecito Fire Protection District also responded to the incident.
Carpinteria-Summerland Fire said about 17 firefighters were on scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
