Big Rig Crash Injures One Person
An accident involving a big rig truck and a car injured one person Friday night.
The crash happened just before eight p.m. at Modoc and Hollister in Goleta.
The car skidded under the trailer of the truck shearing off most of the vehicle’s roof and trapping the driver. He had to be cut from the wreckage by firefighters and transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
