Lompoc Football Runs LPL Winning Streak to 17
Lompoc scored all 51 of their points before the halfway pointof the second quarter as they whipped Santa Maria 51-7 in a Los Padres League game.
The Braves have now won 17 straight league games dating back to 2010.
Austin Hayes, A.J. Florez, Derrick Portis and Gage Buckley scored rushing touchdowns while Greg Mitchell and Richard Foster caught td passes. Foster also ran back a punt for a touchdown for the 6-1 Braves. They are 3-0 in league.
Santa Maria’s lone touchdown came on a fourth-down pass from Dominique Garrett to Marco Manzo.
