Variety Show to Benefit Casa Esperanza

A local production company is putting on a variety show benefiting Casa Esperanza.

On Saturday, EBF Productions will host Variety United at the Marjorie Luke Theater at Santa Barbara Junior High School.

The group hopes to help Casa Esperanza by giving all the show’s proceeds to the homeless shelter.

Recently, the shelter cut its day-use center due to lack of funding.

“We decided to choose Casa because of some stories we heard on NewsChannel 3 about how great their need was. So then we pursued Casa and went down and spoke to them and realized their need was very dire,” said Gitte, of EBF Productions.

The show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.
