Local Communities Appear on Safest Cities List

The Federal Bureau of Investigations released new numbers for all law enforcement agencies in this country and some local cities made the list.

All the data collected is from the year 2012.

Oxnard is ranked number 34 out of almost 280 cities listed. Santa Maria is number 85 on the list and the City of Ventura is ranked number 118.

These annual rankings reflect a combination of violent and other crimes reported for every one thousand residents.
