Carpinteria Looks To Avoid 3rd Straight Loss To Bishop Diego

According to longtime Carpinteria High School head football coach Ben Hallock, the Warriors have never lost three straight games to rival Bishop Diego in the long history of The Little Big Game. That is just one of the items on the line Saturday night when these two meet at Santa Barbara City College.

Both teams come in undefeated with Carpinteria 6-0 and the home Cardinals 5-0. It is the Tri-Valley League opener for both teams as well.

The Warriors are averaging almost 42 points per game and will hope to have some long clock-consuming drives against a Cardinals defense that has given up a total of 19 points on the season.

Game time Saturday night is 7:30 p.m.
