The Green and Yellow Basket Store to Close on State St. After 63 Years
One of Santa Barbara’s oldest retail businesses, “The Green and Yellow Basket” is closing after 63 years.
A news release says the store will begin clearing out its stock this month and close in December.
It is located at 911 State St. in the heart of downtown and known for its wide selection of hats and jewelry along with unique shoes, travel mugs, coasters, license plate frames and the “Old Guys Rule” line of shirts.
