Ballots in the mail for Santa Barbara election

Vote-by-mail ballots will soon hit mailboxes in Santa Barbara. Forty-six thousand were sent out Monday. Registered voters will receive a ballot, an information pamphlet, and a paid for return envelope.

Residents can return the ballots as soon as they like. There will also be drop off boxes and in-person voting available on November 5th. The deadline to register to vote is October 21st.

Drop-Off Center Hours

City Hall Drop-Off Center will be open:

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 – Friday, November 1, 2013 and Monday, November 4, 2013, during regular City Hall business hours;

Saturday, November 2, 2013, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and
Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2013, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

All other Drop-Off Center Locations will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2013, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Vote-by-mail ballots can be dropped off in the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours prior to the Drop-Off Center dates.
