Founder of The Rhythmic Arts Project Honored with Global Citizen Award
The founder of The Rhythmic Arts Project is heading to Quito, Ecuador, to receive a prestigious award. Eddie Tuduri will be honored with the “2013 Academia Cotopaxi Global Citizen” award.
The award recognizes his contribution to humanity through The Rhythmic Arts Project, known as TRAP.
The Global Citizen award is an honor given to those who have made a significant contribution for the betterment of humanity in Ecuador and the world. The community-based selection committee said the opportunities Eddie Tuduri gives to people with various disabilities is done by encouraging and teaching them to learn though music.
The Santa Barbara drummer and resident will be honored October 17.
