Walsh-Jennings & Ross Make Successful Debut on AVP Tour

They said they were nervous but it didn’t show. Playing together on the AVP Tour for the first time, Kerri Walsh-Jennings and April Ross chalked up two easy at the Santa Barbara Open.

They opened up with a 21-11, 21-7 win over Andrea Peterson and Tanya White. They then downed Lane Carico and Heather Hughes in the second round 21-15, 21-15.

Walsh-Jennings and Ross intend to make a run at qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.
