Cal Poly Sorority Moves into Historic Home
The historical Sanitarium Bed and Breakfast in San Luis Obispo is now home to the Kappa Kappa Gamma women of Cal Poly.
The planning commission approved the change in use on Wednesday, with some restrictions.
Ten women will live in the home. The permit allows up 15 people to be over for events or meetings.If they want to have any more guests, they will have to get approval from the city.
The two-story building was built with a neoclassical design and semicircular archways on the front porch and second story balcony. It’s also on the master list of the historic properties in the city.
