Man Slain Near El Rio
Oxnard police said they found a man stabbed to death outside an apartment complex just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
They believe the stabbing happened on the 2400 block of Alvarado Street near the unincorporated town of El Rio in Ventura County.
The victim was 24 years old.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner is withholding his name until relatives are notified.
This is the second young man to be killed in Oxnard this month.
Police said 18-year-old Javier Garcia was shot to death on his birthday, Sept. 6.
