Supervisor Salud Carbajal Invited to White House

Santa Barbara County First District Supervisor Salud Carbajal has been invited to Washington D.C., for the second time this year.

Vice President Joe Biden invited Carbajal to attend an October 8 reception which is part of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Earlier this year, President Barack Obama invited the supervisor to Washington to attend a speech he gave on climate change.

Carbajal said is is an honor that he is being recognized by the White House.
