Students Move Into UC Santa Barbara

Students continued to move into UC Santa Barbara this weekend.

Thousands of students returned to campus after a long summer. For many of them, it is their first time living away from home.

UCSB is welcoming about 5,000 freshmen and transfer students. Ninety-five percent of them will spend around $1,000 a month to live in the dorms.

In-state and out-of-state tuition ranges from $13,000 to $36,000, not including room and board.

Class at UCSB starts Thursday.
