Carpinteria Knows That Strong Preseason Will Pay Off Late
Carpinteria missed out on the playoffs last year when they failed to secure an at-large berth. This year the Warriors are winning it’s non-league contests just in case they do not gain an automatic berth out of the tough Tri-Valley League.
The Warriors are off to a 3-0 start and will try and pick up another victory this Friday night at home against Santa Ynez.
Carpinteria is ranked third in the latest CIF Northwest Division but a playoff spot will not be guaranteed as four teams in the TVL occupy the top four positions in the rankings.
