Water Main Work to Impact Broadway Traffic

Drivers in Santa Maria may want to avoid South Broadway due to work to find and repair an underground water leak. The work begins Tuesday morning.

Workers from the City’s Water Resources Division will start digging in the 400 Block of South Broadway to explore underground lines and find the cause of a water leak.personnel will begin exploratory work to identify the cause of a water leak.

Work is expected to continue throughout Tuesday and will involve temporary lane closures and partial obstruction of sidewalks.
