Gas Prices Rise
Gas prices are on the rise again. Prices went up 6 to 10 cents over the weekend in California.
Two temporary refinery shutdowns in Los Angeles are to blame for the most recent price hike.
“My price has gone up six cents and there is still a couple of cents that still need to be added to the street price,” said Don Risdon, owner of the 76 Station in Carpinteria.
Oil analysts say, prices will likely continue to go up in the coming weeks because of the conflict in Syria. There is concern the supply of oil from the Middle East could be disrupted.
The price of a barrel of oil has already gone up about 4 percent in the last week.
