Basehart Foundation helping pet owners
The Diana Basehart Foundation had a special afternoon event Sunday to raise money through donations and a silent auction.
These funds will help the elderly and those on limited incomes, care for and keep their animals by providing support for veterinary, nutritional and other needs.
Organizers say those in need live better lives with their pets than to be disconnected.
