Man Dead in Port Hueneme Following Officer-Involved Shooting
An officer-involved shooting has left one man dead in Port Hueneme.
The shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. Friday following a traffic accident.
Port Hueneme police responded to the report of an accident near Shoreview Drive and the pier. What led to the shooting is not yet known.
Authorities say officers did fire and kill the suspect. No officers were injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
