Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 1
Two cyclists hit, one killed by a car traveling south on Highway 1 in Morro Bay. The driver, Jessica Goddard, was arrested at the scene.
CHP officials say Goddard is set to be in court Thursday for her Arraignment.
The crash happened at 11:38 a.m. Monday on Highway 1 near the Main Street off-ramp.
Officials said a car struck two bicyclists, one of them was fatality injured. The other had major injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The driver was arrested on scene and is being tested to see if she was driving under the influence of a substance.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The CHP has not released the identity of the victims from this crash.
