Lompoc Aquatic Center Reopens

The aquatic center in Lompoc closed down for two weeks in order for the pool to undergo some needed maintenance.

Officials for the center said thatbecause of their longer hours in the summer time, the pool needs some upgrades and cleaning. Since kids head back to school toward the end of August, officials said that it was the perfect time to polish up the pool.

The pool reopened on Saturday, August 31, and is back to its regular hours. They will even be open on Labor Day.
