Neighborhood Burglary Leads to School Lockdown

Oxnard police arrested three juveniles on suspicion of burglary Tuesday.

It happened following a chase through a neighborhood with an elementary school.

Police said students at Marina West Elementary School were locked in during the burglary investigation.

The search began with a report of suspicious activity in the yard of a home on Elsinore Avenue around 11 a.m.

Police said they caught three teens running away with property taken from a home on the 1700 block of Elsinore Avenue.
