Moorpark School District Scare

A suspicious envelope led to a scare at a school district office.

An envelope full of an unidentified white powder and a threatening message was sent to the Moorpark Unified School District offices.

Hazardous materials officers and Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the site on Maureen Lane to investigate Friday afternoon.

At least one person in the office reported feeling sick.
