Fire Velo Riding To Fight Cancer

Firefighters from all over the countrypedaled through Santa Barbara on Friday in the fight against cancer.

Fire Velo is a fire-department based cycling club. Members ride across the United States to raise money for cancer awareness. Riders started on Sunday in San Francisco and will end their journey on Saturday in Los Angeles.

More than 30 firefighters are on the ride including Barbara Herd, who isgoing through chemotherapy. She rode the first two days of the event.
