Oaks Christian is looking to get back on top in high school football

Brandon Dawkins has already committed to the University of Arizona and he has plenty of company. Seven other Oaks Christian High School players have been offered D-1 scholarships as they enter the upcoming season.

The Lions are hoping that talent takes them deep into the PAC-5 Division playoffs unlike last season in which they lost in the first round by one point to Notre Dame.

The 6’4, 215 pound senior quarterback Dawkins is a dual-threat but hopes to pass more this yearthan run the ball. The Lions return all but one member of their offensive line so that should help Oaks’ pass protection.

The Lions open the season at home against Bakersfield on Friday, August 30.
