Brush fire breaks out near Buellton
The cause of a small grass fire is under investigation.
Santa Barbara County fire crews say the fire sparked near a river bed by a walking trail, right off Highway 101 and the Santa Rosa Road, shortly after 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
It was contained about a half hour later.
At first, firefighters on scene called for air support but cancelled it a short time later.
