Seraphs push forward without Therrien

Defenses already have trouble keeping pace with St. Bonaventure’s explosive offense. Now the Seraphs want to play faster.

Behind 6’4 junior star quarterback Ricky Town, who has already committed to the University of Alabama, the Seraphs will try to run more plays with a lively pace.

Athletic Director John Muller is the interim head coach after the school let Todd Therrien go in July. Muller says the defense is set but he is still adding a few more wrinkles to an offense that plans on keeping opponentson its heels.

Town’s favorite weapon will be 6’4 tight end Bryce Dixon who can play at just about any west coast college that he wants as he has dozens of scholarship offers.

St. Bonaventure hosts Garfield on August 30 at Ventura High School.
