Robbery arrest leads to couple wanted on other charges

When a man and woman robbed the Boost Mobile store located at 353 Arneill Road in Camarillo last month, deputies said they got away in the clerks car.

Security surveillance footage captured the crime.

Deputies say a man with a knife bound the female clerk’s hands and feet while a woman watched the floor of the store.

They took off with merchandise and then abandoned the clerk’s car.

Two weeks later police arrested two suspects identified as Pedro Marcilino Hernandez of Arizona and Yadira Garcia-Hernandez of Camarillo.

The deputies soon learned they were wanted for felony warrants and questioning in an Arizona murder investigation.

The couple were booked into the Ventura County Sheriff’s Pre-trial Detention Facility to await extradition.

Anyone with information regarding the crimes committed on July 12, 2013, at Boost Mobile, is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant John J. Gleason at (805) 384-4727. The caller may remain anonymous and the call is not recorded. The number for Crime Stoppers is 800-222-TIPS (8477).
