Foresters eliminated at NBC World Series
The run is over for the Santa Barbara Foresters in Wichita, Kansas. The reigning back-to-back National Baseball Congress World Series Champions lost an elimination game 4-1 to El Dorado, Kansas. Santa Barbara finishes in fourth place.
The champions did not go down without a fight. Trailing 4-0 heading into the ninth inning, Santa Barbara scored a run and had the tying run at the plate in Ben Johnson but he struck out to end the season.
