Bank robber rips off Atascadero bank, flees in getaway car

Atascadero police are looking for a bank robber who pulled off a heist Thursday afternoon.

A man walked into the Coast Hills Federal Credit Union on the 8900 block of Pueblo Avenue and demanded cash. Police say he then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and jumped into a waiting getaway car.

Authorities are looking for two men; the one who pulled off the robbery and the driver of the car.

Police provided the following description:

The man who entered the bank was described as a white male in his early to mid 20’s, 6 foot to six foot 1 inch tall and weighing 165-175 pounds. He had brown curly hair, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a baseball cap that was black and white with a black brim.
The other man was described as a male, with no further description provided.

The Atascadero Police Department is asking for help in identifying the men.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
