Mariachi Festival draws big crowds at Santa Barbara Bowl

The 18th annual Mariachi Festival drew big crowds to the Santa Barbara Bowl. Nearly 4,000 Latinos enjoyed a night of music, tradition and of giving back to the community.

The festival showcased some of the most renowned artists including Mariachi Sol De Mexico, Aida Cuevas, Mariachi Los Camperos, Alejandra Orozco and Mariachi Reyna De Los Angeles.

The festival’s revenue goes toward the education of Latinos. Sixty-thousand dollars worth of scholarships went to about 25 students.
