El Desfile Historico Fiesta parade draws thousands
The Old Spanish Days parade – El Desfile Historico – drew thousands to the waterfront and State St. in Santa Barbara today to see the color, history and culture that makes up the main event of Fiesta 2013.
The parade is in its 89th year.
Over 600 horses were scheduled to be part of the event.
The celebration features some of the top riding teams in California, slowly moving up the street in between custom built floats, marching bands, and dancers.
