Wrecked car found abandoned in creek
Police are searching for the driver of a wrecked car found abandoned in a creek.
Santa Barbara Police said a jogger found the Toyota Corolla early Sunday morning on its side in Arroyo Burro Creek on Las Positas and Cliff Drive.
It appeared the accident happened sometime Saturday night.
There was broken a windshield and blood at the scene. Police believe the driver may have climbed out of the windshield.
A search of the surrounding areas and local hospitals turned up empty.
The car was towed from the creek bed.
