Santa Maria waits 4 years for Farmer’s Market

It has taken four years to bring the North Santa Barbara County community a Farmer’s Market. Locals in Santa Maria are now helping boost the local economy while being able to select their own fruits and vegetables.

But this isn’t just about fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s also about supporting the local economy. Farmers that join the market are all from the north side of Central Coast, from Lompoc to Paso Robles.

Many shoppers at the market say the most important thing for them is knowing where their fruits and vegetables come from.

The Santa Maria Farmer’s Market is open from 9 a.m to 1 p.m every Saturday at the Santa Maria Town Center Mall.
