Here is the entire SBSO press release:

Buellton- At around 5:30 this morning, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Gang Enforcement Unit confirmed that 33-year-old Arturo Renteria of Santa Maria was hiding out in a cabin at an R.V. Park located in the 100 block of Avenue of the Flags in Buellton.

Renteria is a documented Santa Maria gang member with a history of narcotics sales who had escaped from parole and was wanted by authorities.

Sheriff’s Detectives, assisted by the Santa Barbara Regional Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Santa Maria Police Department, Gang Street Team and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, responded to the scene.

Because authorities believed the suspect was armed and potentially dangerous, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Team (S.W.A.T) was called in to assist and some campers at the R.V. Park were safely evacuated. The Special Enforcement Team surrounded the cabin where Renteria was located, announced its presence and instructed Renteria to surrender.

About fifteen minutes later, following three separate orders by the Sheriff’s Office, Renteria came out of the cabin with his hands up. His girlfriend, 36-year-old Krisanna Parke of Santa Maria surrendered as well.

Parke was on probation and wanted for felony possession of a firearm. Both suspects were taken into custody without incidence. The cabin and vehicle were searched. Renteria was charged with possession of methamphetamine for sale and a being a gang member in possession of a firearm.

He is also charged with a criminal street gang enhancement and due to his parole hold, no bail is set.

Parke was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and her bail was set at $35,000.
