Target coming to Goleta
Goleta city leaders have officially approved plans for a new Target store. City planners have talked about the new store for years. But, now they’ve signed off on an application for the new development.
The next step in the process will include a lengthy study of how the new store will impact the environment and a public comment period.
The store will be built on the 6400 block of Hollister Avenue where the FedEx building sits now.
City planners say it will be about two years before Target actually opens in Goleta.
