Nunnally waits for NBA call

James Nunnally spent this week helping sixty kids learn the game of basketball at the Shooting Star Basketball Camp at Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara. He teamed up with NBA players Orlando Johnson and Julyan Stone.

Now Nunnally, who is fourth on UCSB’s all-time scoring list, would like to join Johnson and Stone next year in the NBA.

Nunnally spent last year in the NBA Development League and this month he played on the Miami Heat’s summer league team. He looked good in a couple of games in Las Vegas including a 24-point performance against the Phoenix Suns.
