New hotel owners hosting Dallas Cowboys in Oxnard

Irvine-based Brighton Management has been on a buying spree in Ventura County.

Last fall, Brighton bought the Residence Inn in Oxnard, the same hotel that has hosted the Dallas Cowboys training camp for years.

Brighton’s regional manager, Victor Dollar, called the Cowboys “icing on the cake.”

Dollar said the owner plans to meet with the Cowboys’ owner, Jerry Jones, in the near future to talk about the possibility of a long-term training camp relationship.

Brighton Management recently bought Ventura’s historic Pierpont Inn at auction.

The company also owns the Four Points by Sheraton and Holiday Inn Express in Ventura, and they recently turned the hotel by the Port of Hueneme into a Holiday Inn Express.
