Goodland Guns hopes to be on target in Goleta

A small home based business has now moved into a Goleta store front to sell guns and ammunition.

The doors have opened at Goodland Guns and Shooter Supply on Hollister Avenue in Old Town.

Owner Dan Ashton says he began his business at home with less than $1000.

He filled orders there and also processed on line purchases through the mail.

“I have been doing on line business for two years now strictly selling ammunition that is my forte and I can get a lot of it. That is going to be my specialty,” said Ashton.

He says as a gun lover he plans to assist others who shoot for sport and special events.

“I primarily do target shooting. I would like to get into competition shooting, that’s what I am training for,” said Ashton.
