Rising Star Singing Competition

Calling all rising stars! The producers of the popular show, Teen Star, are launching a new singing competition for adults.

You have until Wednesday, July 24, to submit your application.Anyone between the ages of 18 and 81 from Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County’s are eligible to participate. A panel of judges will select 12 finalists to perform on stage September 7th at the Chumash Casino.

The winner takes home $5,000, will be given the opportunity to record in a world class studio, and the chance to mentor with recording artist J.R. Richards. Also if you’re the winner you may be able to perform during future shows at the Chumash Casino.

Auditions will be held this Friday through Sunday at the Chumash Casino Resort.
