Therrien out, Muller in at St. Bonaventure Football
Todd Therrien won football championships as a player, an assistant coach and as head coach at St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura. But now he is out. Principal Marc Groff confirmed by telephone this afternoon to NewsChannel 3, “Todd Therrien is no longer the head football coach at St. Bonaventure.”
Groff also confirmed that Athletic Director John Muller will be the interim head football coach this season for the Seraphs. Muller is entering his fifth season as AD with the Seraphs. He used to be the head football coach at Villanova Prep.
As for Therrien’s departure, Groff could not comment stating it is a personnel matter. Therrien led the Serpahs to two State Championships in his six years at head coach. He also served as the teams defensive coordinator before that and Therrien won a CIF title as a player back in 1996. Therrien did not return a text message to NewsChannel 3.
