Firefighters rescue fisherman
The Ventura County Fire Communications Center received a call Tuesday afternoon about a man in trouble on board a fishing boat in the harbor.
The man, reported to be in his 60s, was not breathing and did not have a pulse.
The boat captain was performing CPR on the man when the emergency crew arrived and took over.
The patient was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
