California Mid State Fair begins with cattle drive

The California Mid State Fair is back to the Central Coast for its yearly visit. The 12 day fair kicks off Wednesday with thecowboy and cattledrive through the streets of Paso Robles.

The Mid State Fair runs from noon to midnight each day through July 28 at the Paso Robles Event Center.

The first concert of the fair will begin Wednesday night featuring Tim McGraw and Kip Moore. The show will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Chumash Main Grandstand Arena.

Making an appearance later is the week is John Mayer, The Goo Goo Dolls, Uncle Kracker, and other popular artists. Tickets to the fair are on sale now ranging from $10 for adults, $6 for children, and $8 for senior citizens online or at the box office. Children under 5 are free.
