Oxnard man found lying in street with gunshot wound
A 24-year-old Oxnard man is in the hospital after he was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound.
Police received several calls just before 9 p.m. Tuesday of gunshots heard in the 1400 block of Casa San Carlos Lane in Oxnard. When they arrived, officers found the wounded man lying in the street.
The victim, whose name is being withheld pending the investigation, was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center. He is currently listed in serious condition.
Investigators do not have a suspect at this time.
