Cowboys training camp tents go up

People driving down West Vineyard Avenue and Ventura Road in Oxnard can’t help but notice the tents going up.

They are part of the preparations for the 2013 Dallas Cowboys Training Camp.

For years, the team has trained in Oxnard to beat the summer heat in Texas.

Fans come from all around to watch them practice for free.

The team will be playing on the River Ridge field from Sunday, July 21, to Friday, Aug. 16.
