Body pulled from ocean at Spooner’s Cove identified
San Luis Obispo County Coroner has identified the body pulled form Spooner’s Cove last Friday.
Cal Poly student Stefan Wagner was found in the water a few days after he was reported missing June 20th.
Autopsy results will not be available for three to four weeks pending a toxicology report.
A State Parks official was alerted to the man’s body not far off shore at Spooner’s Cove. His body was pulled from the water around 11 a.m. and handed over to San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department.
Cal Fire said they used divers to pull Wagner from the water.
