Makeshift memorial for Arizona firefighters pops up in Goleta

A makeshift memorial for the 19 firefighters killed in a devastating Arizona wildfire has popped up outside Santa Barbara County Fire Station 14 in Goleta.

Crews noticed the memorial when returning from a call on Monday. They don’t know who put it up but say they’re thankful and speechless about the gesture.

All 19 names of the young men in the crew were written on the sign and 19 American flags were placed underneath.
